Tulsi Lax is an herbal infusion designed to support gentle and regular bowel movements. It combines traditional Ayurvedic herbs—including three varieties of tulsi (holy basil), senna leaf, spearmint, peppermint, and licorice—to produce a soothing, caffeine-free tea that can aid mild constipation and support digestive comfort. 

Key Ingredients & Their Roles

  • Senna (leaf): A well-known herb for promoting intestinal movement (peristalsis).

  • Tulsi (Ocimum spp.) – Krishna, Rama & Vana varieties: Revered in Ayurveda as “the Queen of Herbs”; supports digestion, stress response and immunity.

  • Spearmint & Peppermint (leaves): Provide a refreshing taste and assist in calming the digestive system.

  • Licorice (root): Soothing to the digestive tract and supports mild laxative action.

  • Helps in normalising bowel movements in about 8-12 hours when taken on an empty stomach (first thing in the morning or before bed). 

  • Caffeine-free and contains only herbal ingredients, making it suitable for those seeking gentler alternatives to stronger laxatives. 

  • Also supports general digestive comfort—especially when the digestive system feels sluggish or needs support after heavy meals. 

How to Use

  • Take 1 infusion bag and pour 300-400 ml of boiling water over it; cover and steep for about 5-15 minutes (depending on desired strength) then discard the bag. Best used on an empty stomach, either in the early morning or at bedtime for gentle effect.

  • Do not add milk. You may flavour with honey or lemon if desired, but the base infusion works as intended without additives.
